Fruitful Patience Inspired By WallDesign's DIY Wall Stickers For Home

When I received my WD kit, I couldn't contain my excgrid-itement as I'd grown bored of the ambiance of my room. I'd always shift the furniture from one place to another or sometimes redo the shelves to give me a feeling of accomplishment. My room is painted in my favorite color lavender.

Unfortunately for me, due to the large windows and a stretch of ten feet long cupboards: the room looked more or less like a train compartment. Despite my attempts at personalizing the room with my photos and other posters, I felt irked at the lack of details.

The Worthy Wrestle With The Name Decal

So my eyes were naturally drawn to the decal with my name. I really liked the calligraphy of the lettering as well as the shimmering gold color. As luck would have it, this decal turned out to be quite difficult to install as it adamantly clung to the transfer tape.

I kept the decal on a hard-bound book and used the ruler provided in the kit to rub over the transfer tape. I tried pulling it again, and this time while the design came out with relative ease, the lettering still was difficult to remove. I'd call my younger brother (who is a pro at DIY stuff) for help. He sarcastically attributed my rebellious character to my name as well. I chose the left top corner of my cupboard for the decal and wanted it to be installed diagonally.

With a lot of effort, my brother had to manually stick the letters with the ruler. But the result was worth the wait. I puffed up with pride to see my name just beside my reading spot. Everyone at home loved this decal as well, as it complemented the cupboard. I was later told that the cupboard had been recently polished. This was probably why the decal was difficult to apply.

Filling The Void With Style

The triangle vinyl decal did not impress me at the first look. I tried to think of various spots to install it, when I finally chose the broad frame between the upper and lower cupboards of my room.

The transfer tape came off with relative ease, but I had to be very careful while sticking it since I had to make sure the decal did not slant.

Once the first set of the triangle decal was installed, I liked the way it concealed the awkward frame. For the other half of the decal, I decided to stick it in the reverse pattern creating a stunning zigzag pattern

A Test For Light

I was so impressed with the new look of my boring cupboard that I stuck the test decal at the very bottom of this frame. I'd love to recommend this product to all my friends. The test decal was the easiest to apply, however, I regretted sticking it later due to the color. The letters on the decal and the cupboard got camouflaged, making it visible only at certain angles.

Belling The Cat Was Easy

Then I'd received a minoo decal featuring the face of a cute cat. Despite my obsession with cats, I had to part with this adorable decal and decided to stick it in the kitchen. In my kitchen, the cupboards are alternately colored cream and licorice. So I stuck it at the cream coloured one. I had some apprehensions while installing this one, but I faced no difficulty. The black cat no more looked cute and innocent but had about it an air of naughtiness- peering from a corner.

Dolphin Dealing With Boredom

The fabric decal featuring a dolphin amongst bubbles went straight on the upper door of the fridge. This decal took the least of effort. I felt greater flexibility to install this, as this was like the normal stickers I used as a kid. There was one bubble with just an outer ring, I stuck a small bubble within this ring to create a ripple effect. However, the decal looked a bit dull and lifeless.

Overall, I am really satisfied with WallDesign stickers. The application process was greatly simplified due to the instruction sheets. Even for an impatient person like me, the effect of the decals made the whole process truly enjoyable.

Racked my brains to bring about a change Inside my home: that reeked of intimacy Chanced upon WallDesign with thoughts queasy Dealing with my impatience is no child's play But the decals were. Now I shall say With a dignified smile, that change may Have come: not just on the surface but Deep within in ways deemed still strange.
