What are graphic panels?

Graphic panels as the name says are large rectangle panels of wall sticker like a poster but cover larger area in a wall. They are like wall paintings & photoframes in effect, but they can be used to cover a kitchen cabinet, a niche, puja glass door, cupboard door or as a wall border or floor to ceiling poster. When to install: Install on newly painted walls after 1 week of painting. Always wipe / clean the surface to make it dust-free before installing. On existing surfaces, ensure it has been cleaned and oil free for maximum life of the graphic panel. Unscrew any fittings such as door handles, latch or other small hindrances to make the installation easy. You can get a smooth finish and it will almost look like a new skin for your surface. Hence we call graphic panels also as door & furniture skins. If you are installing a wall panel or border, move any furniture away from the wall and do remove any wall fittings that are in the way of the graphic panel. Duration: They last for many years. WHEN & HOW?

After painting your base colour, let it dry for 24 hours before you paint the stencil pattern on it. Always keep some of the base colour paint to do any touch up. To transfer your design to the wall, tape up the stencil at all four corners. Use a stenciling brush for accurate painting - usually round in shape, but flat across the bristles. Dab the brush lightly into the paint, so that there is no paint dripping from it. Use a light up-and-down dabbing motion. Let the paint dry to the touch, peel the stencil slowly away from the wall, and move on to the next area. For stenciling, we recommend acrylic or latex paints. Keep in mind that the paint companies instructions are followed if diluted. Watery paint will require additional coats and tends to bleed behind the stencil Don't stroke the paintbrush on the stencil as the paint brush will force the paint under its edges. Hence you can use a paint roller to give a satisfactory output. If your stencil requires two or more colors, paint with only one color at a time and let the first dry before adding the second. Your painter can do a good job of stenciling, but ask him to practise before doing the real job.

Glass films are easy to apply and environmentally more friendly than acid-etching or sand-blasting the design on glass. Also the glass film is applied at site after the glass is fitted, reducing the risk of breakage and chipping in glass. There are many films available today of different quality, finish and styles to suit your taste and liking. Many of WallDesign glass films have a removable adhesive so that future changes can be easily done and you can keep up with the design trends. So why not shop for them? Some glass films have a stronger adhesive and takes extra time to remove the adhesive that stays back on the glass, but it can be removed to make the glass as crystal clear as a new one.

After the glass is installed and all other interiors work is done, install the glass film in a clean and dust-free environment. Most glass films are stuck on the glass using a soapy water solution so that the film can be easily positioned and bubble-free. Since the adhesive is gets activated when applying pressure, installers press hard against the film to remove all the water between the film and the glass. Leave it to dry for 24 hours and the glass film is fully stuck. We provide all the necessary tools to do-it-yourself and you will be very happy with the outcome.
