  • When you receive the product, you have to choose the place where you want it to go.
  • Always wipe / clean the surface to make it dust-free before sticking.
  • Peel and stick following the instructions. Note: Stick on newly painted wall only after 1 week of painting.
  • The advantage of wall stickers is that you can change the look of any room as stickers are small and the design can spread with minimal hassle compared to other wall decor products. So decorate your room anytime. Some WallDesign stickers are made with a material that is removable with no damage to wall (do see the product details) so that you can keep changing the wall decor in your home.
  • Duration: They last for many years. Some of the products last less if not stuck properly or in a dusty space. There are cases of stickers peeling from the edges, but we try to reduce failure using good materials. Usually intricate designs and corners are vulnerable in such cases, so remember this when you are getting custom designs for your wall.

Why should I use WallDesign wall decals?

The question should be why SHOULDN’T you use WallDesign wall decals!.. All kidding aside, they are a great way of refreshing your space. They are affordable and easy to install and there are endless possibilities to what you can do with them.

Where can I use WallDesign wall decals?

Our wall decals can be applied to just about any surface including painted wall (your typical interior wall), concrete, glass (mirrors & windows), wood, and metal.

What are the two types of material used in WallDesign products?

We have two types of media:

WD Fab Material –

These products are printed on Fabric material and then cut to give a beautiful and colorful sticker kit that adds a lot of colours and life for your little one’s room. This designer product is very eye-catchy for an infant while being graphical and stimulating for a toddler and above. The features of this product are very unique such as repositionability as many times as you want (move it through different bedrooms, play around with the elements) and virtually fail-proof for application in every way. WD Vinyl Material –

These products are cut from pre-coloured vinyls based on the design. When the decal designs are pasted on the wall of your living space, the wall looks like it is hand-painted with the colours of the decal. The look is beautiful, modern and timeless. The size varies, where you can just have a sticker for your laptop to a full-sized theme-based decal kit that can set the ambiance for a room. I have textured walls, will WallDesign wall decals stick to my wall?

Yes, our decals work on normal textured walls. As long as the texture is not too deep or stucco-like you shouldn’t have any problems installing our decals. If you do have problems, you can always contact us for assistance at support@walldesign.in It is very important to contact us first if you have medium to heavily textured walls because we cannot refund a transaction if the decal does not adhere to your wall. We would be willing to send you a sample if you ask and send us a photo of your wall first.

How do you remove wall decals?

We’d have to say that it is a fairly easy process. For the WD Fab material you can just peel and re-stick elsewhere. For the WD Vinyl decals, you will have to carefully get an edge of the decal, pull it backwards and peel it like you are sliding the vinyl along the wall (at an angle of 180 degrees). Do this slowly for best results.

Are wall decals re-useable? Moveable?

Only the WD Fab material decals are re-usable and movable as many times as you want as long as the adhesive side of the decal does not get dirty. The WD Vinyl material decals are strictly one time use only and cannot be reused or moved. Please check the description of the item you are interested in. Unless it says “Fab Material or Movable or Re-stickable” they are one time use only.

I rent an apartment, is it safe to use wall decals?

Absolutely! Our decals use a removable adhesive that is non permanent. This means they will not form a permanent bond with your paint. If you use our tip above about decal removal, you should not have any problems.

WD Fab Material Product FAQS

  1. What type of media WallDesign uses for Fab wall decals?

  2. WallDesign Fab media is a new, state-of-the-art self-adhesive fabric paper that can be easily placed anywhere and then removed and reused over and over again.

  3. What are the advantages of using WD Fab material?

  4. Our WD Fab media has many advantages, which makes it the best choice forlarge scale residential do-it-yourself wall decals. Our media special characteristics include:

– Low-tack self-adhesive makes it removable, repositionable and reusable over and over again as the adhesive never weakens. – Will not leave any residue on your wall or peel paint once removed – Will not wrinkle or rip (tear resistant material). This is very important when the decal is placed in kids rooms. Kids will not be able to tear pieces from the decal (prevents choking hazard). – Can be wrapped around corners, ceilings and poles. – Will stick to any non-porous surface, including walls, ceilings, windows, doors and floors. – Can be used in humid locations, such as bathrooms and toilets. – Can be applied over any existing wall paper, as long as the surface is smooth.

5. What surface/location preparations are needed before application?

The application surface should be prepared, smooth, clean and dry. The surface should be non-porous and smooth, although we’ve tested it on slightly bumpy surfaces and it sticks well. If the application surface was recently painted, allow drying of 2-3 weeks before application. Before application at or close to humid locations, pay special attention to make sure the surface is completely dry. Decals shouldn’t be applied close to where under 3’s can reach. Although the media is tear resistant, some of the designs have some smaller pieces, that if peeled can be a choking hazard.

6. How easy is it to apply WD Fab decals on the surface?

Very easy. Just peel the decal from the backing paper, position on the application surface, attach the center of the decal to the surface and work your way out towards the edge of the decal. Don’t worry if you get any bubbles on the way, as the media is repositionable, just take it off the surface and continue applying. 7. How easy is it to remove/reposition WD Fab decals? Our media low tack adhesive is easy to take off any surface. Taking it off is easy right after first application and will stay the same over time; Even after long periods of time taking it off the surface is easy. This combined with the fact that it is also tear resistant and won’t wrinkle makes it ideal for repositioning and reusing. 8. Will the decal leave any residue or damage my surface after taking it off? No. Our WD Fab decals do not leave any residue on the surface after taking it off and will not damage the surface (low tack adhesive). 9. How are the decals cleaned? Use a dry sponge/cloth and gently wipe the decal to remove any dust that might have come on the decal. 10. How long will WallDesign decals stick to the wall? Our decals have been on the wall for more than 3 years and still going strong. Take care when you reposition multiple number of times to keep the adhesive side dust free which means before repositioning anywhere, the surface should be wiped with a clean, dry towel.

WD Vinyl product FAQs

1. What type of media WallDesign uses for Vinyl wall decals?

WallDesign vinyl decals are made of coloured vinyls which are cut in the shape of the designs. Since printing (and the various effects) is not involved, the vinyl decals are more pocket friendly for decorating a larger space. There are around 30 vinyl colours to choose from to create the perfect look for your living space.

2. What surface/location preparations are needed before application?

The application surface should be prepared, smooth, clean and dry. The surface should be non-porous and smooth, although we’ve tested it on slightly bumpy surfaces and it sticks well. If the application surface was recently painted, allow drying of 2-3 weeks before application. Before application at or close to humid locations, pay special attention to make sure the surface is completely dry. Decals shouldn’t be applied close to where under 3’s can reach.

3. How easy is it to apply WD Vinyl decals on the surface?

Easy for the small ones and can be confusing to difficult for the largest decal sizes. This is not as easy as applying the WD Fab decals as you have to be fully prepared & aware and follow all instructions to make it a successful and clean installation of your design on your wall. 4. How easy is it to remove WD Vinyl decals? Can it be repositioned?

WD Vinyl decals are meant for a one-time use only. WD Vinyl decals being removable in nature should bring in added comfort to a tenant thinking of trying our vinyl decal out. Also, for a design conscious customer, he/she would be able to personalize their space more often and on their own with our vinyl decals. To remove the decals, you will have to carefully get an edge of the decal, pull it backwards and peel it like you are sliding the vinyl along the wall (at an angle of 180 degrees). Do this slowly for best results. There could be some traces of paint chipping or a bleach-effect look which usually will not happen to well painted and clean walls.

5. How are the decals cleaned?

Use a wet sponge/cloth and gently wipe the decal to remove any dust that might have come on the decal.

6. How long will WallDesign decals stick to the wall?

Our decals have been on the wall for more than 3 years and still going strong. Take care when you reposition multiple number of times to keep the adhesive side dust free which means before repositioning anywhere, the surface should be wiped with a clean, dry towel.
